Haryana invites landowners to submit offers for procurement of 47,000 acres across 27 towns

Panchkula, Sep 14 (UNI) The Haryana government has invited landowners and land aggregators to submit offers through the e-Bhoomi portal for procurement of 47,000 acres in 27 towns under the fourth phase of its land procurement programme, according to a notification issued by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP).
The notification also provides the procurement of 8,000 acres in 39 towns for Transport Nagar and 9,000 acres for NAMO CITY in Sonipat, Rohtak and Jhajjar. The e-Bhoomi portal will remain open for submission of interests/offers till October 31.
The land procurement is being undertaken with the consent of landowners, with interested landowners and land aggregators being asked to submit their interests/offers online through the e-Bhoomi portal for land required for residential, commercial and institutional purposes.

Over four lakh lamps lit across Panchkula as month-long Seva Sankalp campaign begins

Panchkula, Sep 17 (UNI) More than four lakh earthen lamps were lit at around 275 locations across Panchkula district on Thursday as the administration launched the month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, aimed at expanding awareness and access to government welfare schemes.
Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma joined the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme at the Parade Ground in Sector 5, where he also distributed Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY) cards to 100 eligible beneficiaries.

HP school education board warns 129 state open school study centres for not conducting PCP classes

Dharamshala, Sep 17 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has taken strict action against 129 State Open School (SOS) study centres for failing to conduct mandatory Personal Contact Programme (PCP) classes for students enrolled in the September 2026 session.
Board Chairman Dr Rajesh Sharma said all study centres had already been directed to conduct PCP classes for newly enrolled students and those opting for additional subjects.
