Kangra: Farmers can apply for farm equipment subsidy till Sept 30

Dharamshala, Sep 26 (UNI) Farmers in Kangra district can apply online till September 30 for subsidy on agricultural machinery under the Agricultural Engineering Sub-Mission, the Agriculture Department said on Saturday.
The Agri Machinery Portal became operational on September 22, inviting applications for 2026-27 through the Government of India's DBT portal, agrimachinery.nic.in.
Deputy Director of Agriculture, Kangra, Dr Ashok Kumar said small and marginal farmers, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and women farmers would be eligible for subsidy of up to 50 per cent on eligible agricultural equipment, while other categories would receive benefits as per prescribed norms.
