UP: All India Vyas Sangh adopts resolution against remarks on Hindu scriptures, deities

Varanasi, Oct 1 (UNI) The All India Vyas Sangh's national convention today unanimously passed 14 resolutions, including a resolution against alleged derogatory remarks about Hindu scriptures and deities.
The Sangh has forwarded all resolutions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The convention, held at the ancient Patalpuri Math in Kashi, was inaugurated by the Sangh's national president, Jagadguru Balak Devacharya Ji Maharaj, by lighting a lamp.
At the convention, members expressed concern over the issue of religious conversions and announced that village-level committees would be formed to prevent religious conversions and an awareness campaign would be launched across the country. The Sangh also passed a resolution to establish dialogue between areas and castes affected by religious conversions.
Jagadguru Balak Devacharya Ji Maharaj stated that insulting Sanatan Dharma cannot be justified in the name of freedom of expression. He stated that he would work to spread awareness about religion, culture, and the nation through Vyas Kathas. The Vyas Sangh will no longer tolerate insults. They will no longer beg for justice from the government. Negotiations are currently underway with the Akharas. Now, saints will also take the lead in protecting the religion along with the Nagas. They will not let them go so easily. Vyas will openly name those who insult the religion in his Kathas daily and raise awareness.
The convention also passed resolutions to connect Jains with religion, culture, and nationalism, promote cow rearing and protection, encourage joint families, organise Nari Shakti Vandan programmes and form groups to connect them with Shri Ram culture.
Furthermore, consensus was reached on making Vande Mataram mandatory in every programme, discussing the great heroes of the freedom struggle in Kathas, and eliminating religious and caste discrimination in society and connecting more people to Kathas. UNI MBD NST
