Panchkula to hold 17 ‘Seva Setu’ camps from Sept 21 for on-the-spot access to govt schemes

Panchkula, Sep 19 (UNI) The Panchkula administration will hold 17 ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’ camps across urban and rural areas of the district from September 21 to October 13, allowing residents to approach government departments directly for grievance redressal and apply for welfare schemes, Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma said on Saturday.
The camps, being organised under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, will cover the Panchkula Municipal Corporation, Kalka Municipal Council and Pinjore, Raipur Rani, Barwala and Morni blocks.
“Various departments will set up stalls where people can directly interact with officials, raise their grievances and submit applications for government schemes,” Sharma said.
He said the objective was to ensure swift and transparent delivery of government benefits to the last eligible person and urged residents to attend the camp nearest to them.
The first three camps will be held at MDC Panchkula on September 21, Sector 17 on September 22 and Sector 26 on September 24. Kalka will host camps at Ambedkar Bhawan on September 25 and 26.
In Pinjore block, camps will be held at the BDPO office on September 28, Madawala on September 29 and Fatehpur Diwanwala on September 30.
Raipur Rani block will have camps at Garhi Kotaha on October 1, the BDPO office on October 4 and Kakrali on October 5. In Barwala block, the camps are scheduled at the BDPO office on October 6, Manak Tabra on October 7 and Rattewali on October 8.
The final three camps will be held in Morni block — at the BDPO office on October 9, Sabilpur on October 12 and Bhoj Koti on October 13.
