Chhattisgarh Guv adopts two villages in Gariyaband, assures all-round development

Raipur, June 5 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka adopted two villages in Gariyaband district on Thursday, and directed that a roadmap be prepared for all-round development of the villages.
Earlier, Governor Deka had adopted only Madwadih, but now he has included Bijli gram panchayat as well.
Governor Deka visited Madwadih, which is a village under Bijli gram panchayat, on Thursday, and met with the villagers. He addressed a public gathering there and assured the villagers of comprehensive development.
The Governor underscored that the villages should achieve 100% implementation of all central and state government schemes, prioritising facilities like water, electricity, roads, education, health, agriculture, employment, and drinking water.
He directed that a three-month roadmap be prepared for both villages.
Governor Deka also planted a mango sapling under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign 2.0 in Madwadih and encouraged people to plant trees.
Additionally, he interacted with young Red Cross workers, participated in tree plantation at Nagar Panchayat Rajim, met with sanitation workers, and expressed gratitude for their contributions to the cleanliness drive.
