After International Trade Show, 'One District, One Cuisine' initiative to debut on national stage

Lucknow, Oct 6 (UNI) After becoming a centre of attraction at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) held in Greater Noida, the Yogi government's flagship initiative, "One District, One Cuisine" (ODOC), is now set to debut on the national stage.
ODOC will be setting up its first stall at the 45th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2026, to be held from November 14 to 27, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
Here, through the "One District, One Product" (ODOP) initiative, ODOC will showcase Uttar Pradesh's local products, traditional cuisine, and rich culinary heritage to the nation and the world.
Following ODOC's platform at the International Trade Show in Greater Noida, its first appearance at a prestigious national trade fair like IITF is an important step towards expanding this initiative. This will provide an opportunity to connect Uttar Pradesh's local culinary traditions with trade, branding, and the market.
The different districts of Uttar Pradesh have their own distinct identities and traditional cuisines. The ODOC concept is based on the idea of providing global recognition, branding, and market access to these local cuisines. While ODOP has focused on connecting the districts' unique products to the national and international markets, ODOC is also integrating local tastes and culinary traditions into this broader economic vision. ODOC's stall at IITF will showcase this culinary diversity of the state on a cohesive platform.
This will provide visitors, traders, investors, and potential buyers from across the country with an opportunity to learn about Uttar Pradesh's local cuisine and related products.
