Air Show: Crowd management in Varanasi via PA System, directional signs installed on ghats

Varanasi, Oct 19 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation administration has intensified preparations for the air show to be held at Namo Ghat in Varanasi on October 22, 24, and 25 to mark the 94th anniversary of Indian Air Force Day.
For the convenience, safety, and crowd management of spectators during the event, major ghats along the Ganges have been connected with a public address (PA) system. Directional signboards have been installed from Namo Ghat to Samne Ghat to ensure smooth movement for tourists.
City Commissioner Himanshu Nagpal is regularly inspecting various areas to assess the preparations. Anticipating the large number of citizens, tourists, and VIPs expected to attend the air show, the Municipal Corporation has made special arrangements at the ghats and the major connecting roads.
