Order for removal of Gram Panchayat head of Pekha withdrawn

Shimla, June 19 (UNI) The order for removal of Pradhan Gram Panchayat Pekha, Sharmila Devi alias Ramila Devi, has been withdrawn with immediate effect.
As per the office order issued today, Pradhan Gram Panchayat Pekha will continue to perform her duties.
It is worth mentioning here that the Pradhan Gram Panchayat Pekha was removed from her post on June 18, 2025 in view allegations levelled against her regarding encroachment on government land.
