Omar Abdullah marries journalist Nidhi Razdan

Srinagar, Oct 31 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has married senior journalist Nidhi Razdan, the couple announced on Saturday.
“A new journey began yesterday,” Omar wrote on X, posting four photographs with Razdan and tagging her.
Razdan shared the photographs on her own X account with the caption: “It’s done bro.”
The marriage was solemnised at a ceremony in New Delhi on Friday, with family members from both sides as witnesses.
It is the second marriage for both. Omar is 56 and Razdan is 49.
The wedding comes three months after the Supreme Court dissolved Omar’s marriage to his first wife, Payal Abdullah, in July 2026, following a settlement between the two.
Omar and Payal married in 1994. They have two sons, Zahir and Zamir.
Omar announced their separation in 2011. A divorce case remained pending before the court for several years until the Supreme Court dissolved the marriage this year
