With Bullet Train, Delhi-Kashi travel time will be three hours, 33 minutes: Ashwini Vaishnaw

Varanasi, Oct 31 (UNI) union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Saturday that once the Bullet Train starts operating between Kashi and Delhi, it will eliminate the need for air travel.
Passengers will be able to reach Delhi from Kashi in just three hours and 33 minutes.
He added that the high-speed Bullet Train project will be launched in Uttar Pradesh very soon.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the Northern Corridor, which will connect Delhi, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Ayodhya. This corridor will then proceed to Guwahati via Varanasi, Patna.
Vaishnaw said here on Saturday that the Namo Bridge being built in Kashi will prove to be extremely important for the connectivity of the entire country.
This Signature Bridge, being built for railways and highways, has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the next 100 years.
The design of its foundation was of paramount importance. Now, construction work is progressing.
He stated that upon completion of the Namo Bridge, Kashi Station will be better connected to the railway network. This will strengthen railway and highway connectivity for the next 100 years.
This bridge will enable the operation of more than 100 additional trains. This will also facilitate the journey of devotees visiting Baba Vishwanath.
The Railway Minister stated that six new platforms are also being constructed at Kashi Station.
This will enable Kashi Station to emerge as a new transportation hub and provide improved facilities to passengers.
Referring to the potential travel time of the Bullet Train corridor, he said that the distance from Delhi to Agra can be covered in 59 minutes, the distance from Delhi to Kanpur in one hour and 45 minutes, and the distance from Delhi to Lucknow in two and a quarter hours.
The journey from Kashi to Lucknow will take one hour and 21 minutes, and the journey from Kashi to Patna in one hour.
The travel time between Kashi and Delhi will be reduced to three hours and 33 minutes.
Targeting the opposition, Vaishnaw said that the opposition does not believe in the Constitution and is moving towards anarchy.
