Those engaging in PDA politics should also remember history of State Guest House incident: Dr. Rajeshwar Singh

Lucknow, Oct 15 (UNI) Questioning the Samajwadi Party's PDA politics, BJP's Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, recalled the much-discussed State Guest House incident of 1995.
He said that those who today talk about the interests of the PDA, i.e., backward, Dalit, and minority communities, should also introspect on their political past.
Referring to the incident that occurred at the State Guest House in Lucknow with then-Chief Minister Mayawati, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh in a statemebt here on Thursday said that the incident raised serious questions about the safety and dignity of a Dalit woman Chief Minister. According to him, those who practice social justice politics should explain how Dalit leadership was treated in that era. He said that social justice is not just a political slogan, but a commitment reflected in conduct, thoughts, and behavior. The credibility of political parties that advocate for the rights of the underprivileged is also determined by their history and work ethic.
