Yogi attacks Akhilesh Yadav, says jobs were given to close associates during SP rule

Varanasi, Oct 14 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, targeting the Samajwadi Party (SP), said on Wednesday that during the previous SP rule the future of youth was compromised by appointing family members to recruitment commissions and boards.
He said that during that time, the uncle-nephew duo was out to extort money, and youth outside the Saifai Syndicate were denied jobs.
Yogi said that "how could progress occur when the government lacked momentum. This lack of progress led to the plight of youth."
He alleged that during the SP government, people associated with the Saifai Syndicate were appointed to recruitment commissions and boards, and recruitments were made through them.
The Chief Minister said that in the last nine and a half years, appointment letters for more than 950,000 government jobs have been distributed in Uttar Pradesh.
He said that SP President Akhilesh Yadav had raised questions about the non-distribution of appointment letters. In response, he promised to issue appointment letters to one lakh more youth. Four programs have already been organized in this regard.
Yogi said that the results of the Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment were also announced on Wednesday. The results of 32,000 youth have been declared, and appointment letters will be distributed to them soon. He claimed that the recruitment process in the state is being carried out with transparency, honesty, and fairness.
Accusing the SP government of irregularities in the recruitment process, the Chief Minister said that Anil Yadav was appointed chairman of a commission at that time, even though, according to him, he was not qualified for the post.
Referring to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission recruitment process, he claimed that during the SP regime, a candidate who had secured third division in high school, intermediate, and graduation secured the top position in the commission's examination.
The Chief Minister said that during the SP government, there was anarchy, riots, unrest, and mafia influence in the state. He said that at that time, the youth of Uttar Pradesh faced an identity crisis, and there were many districts whose names were not even available in hotels and dharamshalas.
Earlier ,Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also targeted the Samajwadi Party (SP), saying that the party talks about the PDA (Backward, Dalit, and Minority) but failed to deliver the representation it claims in the Rajya Sabha elections.
He sarcastically said that the SP's PDA stands for "Family Development Authority" and "Other's Wealth, Ours."
Addressing the Teachers' and Graduates' Conference held at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University campus, Yogi said that in the elections for 10 Rajya Sabha seats in the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won eight seats, while the SP won two.
The BJP has represented various communities and sent their members to the Rajya Sabha.
He questioned the SP, saying that the party used to talk about the PDA, but where did its PDA go in the distribution of Rajya Sabha tickets? He said that the SP chose Ram Gopal Yadav as one of its two candidates. He questioned why no Yadavs from Kashi, Ghazipur, and Ballia were given a chance.
Similarly, a Dalit could have been nominated for the second seat, but this was not done.
The Chief Minister alleged that the Samajwadi Party gave one ticket to a wealthy Mumbai businessman. He said that these decisions expose nepotism and the politics of "others' money and their own."
Yogi said that graduates and teachers are two vigilant guardians of society. If one wants to assess the future of a society and nation, its future can be predicted by looking at the energy, talent, and direction of the youth.
