IMD forecasts heavy rain in Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab on Sept 14-15

Panchkula, Sep 11 (UNI) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts isolated heavy rainfall in Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab on September 14 and 15. Rain and thunderstorms are also expected in several parts of northwest India in the coming days.
According to the All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued at 8:30 am on September 11, the IMD expects isolated to scattered rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning across the rest of northwest India during the forecast period.
The IMD’s seven-day forecast for Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi indicates isolated rainfall on September 11, scattered rainfall from September 12 to 15, and isolated rainfall again on September 16 and 17.

Haryana expands Rs 2,100 monthly support to benefit additional 17 lakh women

Panchkula, Sep 17 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the expansion of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana to include families with annual incomes up to Rs 1.80 lakh. This extension will provide Rs 2,100 monthly support to an additional 17 lakh women and release Rs 48.91 crore in benefits for nearly 65,000 workers.
