Regional workshop on Mission Karmayogi to be held in Vijayawada

Vijayawada, Sep 27 (UNI) A regional workshop on Mission Karmayogi, aimed at strenthening the capacity of government employees and improving administrative skills, will be held here on September 29 and 30.
The two-day workshop will be conducted at Dr B R Ambedkar Kala Vedika, with officials and stakeholders from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Puducherry participating.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be the chief guest at the inaugural session on September 29 and formally inaugurate the workshop. union Minister Jitendra Singh will also attend the event.
Senior officials from the Central and State governments and representatives of Mission Karmayogi will address the participants.
The workshop will focus on capacity building of government training institutions and enhancing the skills of government employees under Mission Karmayogi. A demonstration will be given on the use of the iGOT–Mission Karmayogi platform for capacity building through the Unnati programme.
Discussions will also be held on the Mission Karmayogi Quality Framework and the draft framework for governance of various training institutions under the Karmayogi Kartavya programme. Representatives from different states will share their experiences and best practices through inter-state team activities and question-and-answer sessions.
The key message of the workshop is that government training institutions should evolve beyond being mere centres for conducting courses and emerge as partners in improving the performance of various departments. The workshop is expected to facilitate capacity enhancement in governance and promote the exchange of best practices among the participating states.
