Telangana CM Revanth orders probe into missing 45 acres in Erravalli

Hyderabad, Oct 6 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday reviewed the land issue involving Erravalli and neighbouring Venkatapuram villages in Markook mandal of Siddipet district and directed officials to ascertain the whereabouts of 45 acres of unaccounted land in Survey No. 325.
Officials informed the Chief Minister that Survey No. 325 in Erravalli covers 388 acres, while a recent revenue survey could account for only 343 acres. Following the review, a survey notification was issued covering Erravalli and Venkatapuram villages to identify the missing land.
Officials have been directed to issue notices to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and his family members, whose lands are located adjacent to the survey number, seeking relevant revenue records.
The Chief Minister directed that the land in Survey No. 325 be distributed to eligible local farmers.
He also ordered the construction of a Telangana Martyrs’ Colony on the land for families of those who sacrificed their lives during the Telangana movement.
Revanth Reddy directed that house plots be allotted to the martyrs’ families and that the colony be developed with all necessary amenities.
He suggested entrusting the construction to the Housing Board and ordered that the colony be completed by June 2, an official statement said.
