AP CM to disburse pensions at Malakapalli village, arrangements reviewed

Rajahmundry, June 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababy Naidu will participate in the NTR Bharosa pension disbursement programme, scheduled to be held on July 1, at Malakapalli village of Tallapudi village of EG district.

Informing this to the media here on Sunday, East Godavari district Collector P Prasanthi said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would disburse NTR Bharosa pensions to some of the beneficiaries at the village and later he would participate in the P4 programme.

The Collector held a meeting with Joint Collector S China Ramudu, DRO T Sitarama Murthy, RDO Rani Sushmita and other officials here on Sunday and reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s programme. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the Chief Minister would disburse pensions to some of the beneficiaries at their house itself. He would also interact with the families of beneficiaries at the Grama Sabha programme.

Collector Prasanthi made suggestions on security arrangements, Gram Sabha. She also suggests to the officials the construction of a helipad, route map, medical camp, fire extinguishing system arrangements, and electricity supply. Later, public representatives went along with the officials for field inspection. To make this visit a complete success, officials of all departments should work in coordination, the Collector directed the officials.

Collector Prasanthi ordered the officials to take appropriate steps during the next 24 hours for the Chief Minister’s programme. She told the Joint Collector, RDO and the DRDA PD to personally supervise the identification of beneficiaries for pension distribution, the guidelines and the Chief Minister's meeting with the beneficiary families.

“The Chief Minister will address the people at the Gram Sabha meeting for which the R&B officials have completed the arrangements. The helipad has already been constructed,” she said, directing the officials to provide all required information to the Chief Minister’s security personnel.

The Collector instructed the information department officials to monitor the sound system, digital screen, live broadcast, media coordination and other aspects. All necessary arrangements should be made as per the orders of the Chief Minister's Office, she told the officials.

Collector Prasanthi asked the officials to follow protocol while making arrangements for the programme. Later, Chief Minister's Programme Coordinator Pendurthi Venkatesh, MLA Muppidi Venkateswara Rao, SP D Narasimha Kishore, visited Malakapalli village along with the Collector and other officials. The Collector instructed the officials to make alternative arrangements for the chief Minister’s programme in case of rain.
