Telangana Congress leaders leave for Delhi to join SIR protest

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud, along with ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs and other party leaders, left for Delhi from Shamshabad airport on a special flight on Sunday.
According to party sources, around 60 MLAs and other public representatives are accompanying the TPCC chief to participate in protest programmes organised by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) against alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
The Congress leaders are expected to raise concerns over the revision process and alleged irregularities in voter list preparation.
