Somaiah's death note names Cong MLAs, BJP seeks their inclusion in FIR

Bengaluru, Apr 5 (UNI) Leaders of the Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly and Council, R Ashoka and Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, along with the family of BJP worker Vinay Somaiah, have submitted an additional complaint to the Bengaluru police, urging that Congress MLAs AS Ponnanna and Mantar Gowda be named in the FIR related to Somaiah’s alleged suicide.
The BJP leaders also staged a late-night protest at the hospital where Vinay’s body was kept, demanding swift police action based on the contents of his death note, which allegedly identifies those responsible for sustained harassment and defamation that led to his death.
Speaking to reporters late Friday night, R Ashoka said, "The death note is conclusive. It clearly names those responsible (for suicide of Somaiah). The police have failed in their duty by not including these names in the FIR. This is a grave lapse."
