CBI conduct raids in Mumbai, Chennai, books former JNPA official, others on Rs 800 graft charges

Chennai, June 20 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids at five locations
in Mumbai and Chennai and registered cases against the then Chief Manager, (PP WD) of Jawaharal Nehru Port Trust (now JNPA) and private persons/entities in connection with Rs 800 crore corruption in awarding contracts of JNPA to Mumbai-based consortium on Capital Dredging Project (CDR) to facilitate entry of vessels.
