BRAOU Vice Chancellor invites Telangana Governor for 26th Convocation

Hyderabad, May 23 (UNI) Prof Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice Chancellor of Dr B R Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), met with the Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, at Raj Bhavan on Friday.
During the meeting, the Governor discussed the development of BRAOU — India’s first open university — and emphasised the need for continued efforts to enhance its academic and infrastructural growth.
Prof Chakrapani, along with senior university officials, formally invited the Governor to attend the 26th Convocation of BRAOU, which is scheduled to be held in August or September this year.
Accompanying the Vice Chancellor were Dr L Vijaya Krishna Reddy, Registrar, Prof B Srinivas, Controller of Examinations; and Dr P Venu Gopal Reddy, Public Relations Officer, an official statement said.
