ISB announces 250 annual scholarships, research platform on 25th anniversary

Hyderabad, Oct 6 (UNI) The Indian School of Business (ISB) has announced a series of institutional initiatives, including 250 scholarships annually, a national research platform and a faculty development programme, as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
Under the ISB25 Scholars Programme, the school will award 250 scholarships every year across its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL).
The scholarships will offer tuition fee waivers of 100 per cent, 50 per cent, 30 per cent and 25 per cent on a merit-cum-need basis, the school said in a release on Tuesday.
The programme is aimed at widening access to management education for high-potential candidates from diverse economic, geographical and professional backgrounds.
As part of the initiative, ISB will establish the India Research Commons, a national platform that will provide scholars across the country with access to curated datasets, research tools, methodological resources and AI-enabled research infrastructure.
ISB will also introduce a national faculty development programme to share its teaching methods, classroom practices and technology-enabled pedagogy with management institutions across the country.
ISB Dean Professor Madan Pillutla said the ISB@25 initiatives would focus on making management education more accessible and strengthening research and teaching capabilities across the country.
The initiatives build on programmes launched by ISB in recent years. In 2025, the school introduced the PGP in Management for Young Leaders, with an inaugural cohort of 130 students, more than a third of whom received tuition fee waivers.
The school also launched ISB Discover, a digital knowledge platform that makes faculty research available in accessible formats for policymakers, business leaders and the public.
ISB has also reviewed its flagship PGP curriculum following consultations with alumni, recruiters and industry, with the revised approach focusing on greater flexibility, customised learning pathways and alignment with changing workplace requirements.
Founded in 2001, ISB has more than 20,000 alumni across over 65 countries.
Its PGP is ranked first in India and second in Asia in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2026, while ISB is ranked 12th globally.
The school has campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali and holds triple accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.
