Eugenix Hair Sciences opens fifth centre in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Sep 26 (UNI) Eugenix Hair Sciences, a specialised hair restoration institution, on Friday expanded its presence to Bengaluru with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art centre by Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.Located at Featherlite Vantage on 100 Feet Road, Domlur, the new facility spans more than 6,000 sq ft and houses six operation theatres. It is Eugenix's fifth centre in India after Gurugram, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar.
Speaking at the inauguration, Shivakumar welcomed Eugenix to Bengaluru and highlighted Karnataka's position as a leader in IT, aerospace, biotechnology, hospitality and specialised healthcare.
"In spite of my demanding schedule, I wanted to be here today to personally congratulate Dr Pradeep and Dr Arika for bringing Eugenix to Bengaluru," he said.
The Chief Minister said the institution's focus on medical tourism and doctor-led expertise could strengthen Bengaluru's position as a destination for specialised healthcare.
Dr Pradeep Sethi, Co-Founder of Eugenix and an AIIMS New Delhi alumnus, said the Bengaluru launch was a significant milestone in the institution's journey, which began nearly two decades ago from a small basement clinic in Rishikesh.
"We started two decades ago in a small basement in Rishikesh, with a simple belief that hair restoration deserved the same seriousness, precision and individual attention as any other specialised medical field," he said.
Co-Founder Dr Arika Bansal, also an AIIMS New Delhi alumna, said the expansion would bring Eugenix's clinical expertise closer to patients who had earlier travelled to its other centres.
Eugenix said its doctor-led model involves surgeons overseeing key stages, including diagnosis, treatment planning, hairline design, donor mapping, recipient-site creation and surgical supervision.
Padma Shri awardee and sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a special sand-art installation to mark the occasion.
The event was attended by several prominent personalities, including former India cricket captain and Telangana Minister Mohammed Azharuddin and Karnataka Minister Dr Ajay Dharam Singh.
Founded by Dr Sethi and Dr Bansal, Eugenix said it has performed more than 22,000 procedures over 15 years for patients from India and abroad. Its Direct Hair Transplantation technique was published in a peer-reviewed journal in 2013.
