All set to celebrate Thrissur Pooram festival

Thrissur, May 5 (UNI) Hailed as one of the largest festivals in Asia, Thrissur Pooram is all set to be celebrated with its glory and majesty.
Ministers V N Vasavan,K Rajan and R Bindu took stock of the arrangement on Monday evening with high police officials and other security agencies.
More than 4,000 police personnel have been deployed to ensure safety and security at the venue, where lakhs of spectators are expected to converge.
More than 100 elephants will be part of the festival that will start from 7 am on Tuesday and end on Wednesday noon.
