Kerala Health Minister orders strengthening of surveillance with Covid cases rising in SE Asia

Thiruvananthapuram, May 24 (UNI) Kerala Health Minister Veena George has ordered the strengthening of surveillance in all districts as Covid cases are being reported in large numbers in Southeast Asian countries.
She said that so far 273 Covid-19 cases have been reported in May in Kerala.
The Minister urged district medical officers and district surveillance officers to report the Covid cases accurately.
People suffering from jaundice must strictly follow the instructions of health workers during the period of risk of transmission, she said.
