Hyd: Sr Photojournalist of The Hindu Sivakumar passes away, CM condoles

Hyderabad, May 18 (UNI) Veteran photojournalist and former Special News Photographer of The Hindu and Businessline P.V. Sivakumar passed away here on Sunday after suffering a heart attack.
He was 66 years old and he is survived by wife and son.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed shock and sadness over the sudden demise of senior photojournalist Shiva Kumar and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
On ‘X’ , the CM said Shiva Kumar, a native of Hyderabad, retired as a Senior Special News Photographer with The Hindu newspaper.
The photo journalist was widely recognised for his contributions to journalism and was the recipient of several prestigious awards, including 'Best Photographer' honors', the CM added.
In a separate condolence message, Information, and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy expressed his condolences on the untimely death of the senior photojournalist Shiva Kumar.
Shiva Kumar, from Hyderabad, worked for many years as a senior special news photographer for The Hindu newspaper, the Minister said.
The Minister conveyed his sympathies to Shiva Kumar’s family.
