Passing Out Parade of fifth Agniveer batch held

Bengaluru, June 5 (UNI) The iconic Govindaswamy Drill Square at the Madras Engineer Group & Centre (MEG & Centre) came alive with martial splendour and patriotic fervour on Thursday as it hosted the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the fifth batch of Agniveers.
A total of 568 Agniveers marked the culmination of their rigorous training in a grand ceremonial event that symbolised their transition into the Indian Army, even as Operation Sindoor continues across operational theatres.
The parade reflected the discipline, valour and high standards of the Madras Sappers, with the Agniveers dressed in ceremonial attire – including blue ‘Dooptas’, gold and maroon 'jari' bands, and white spats – marching in unison to the rousing tunes of the military band.
