Closure of airspace in Middle East disrupts flight operations

Thiruvananthapuram, June 23 (UNI) Due to the closure of airspace in the Middle East in the wake of the Israel-Iran conflict, flight operations from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport have been impacted.
"Passengers are requested to check with their respective airlines on the status of their flights before arriving at the airport. We appreciate your cooperation," a release said.
Thiruvananthapuram-Bahrain Gulf Air flight is returning back to TRV due to the closure of the Qatar airspace.
Departure of Air India Express Dammam and Dubai services were delayed. Passengers are waiting at the airport security hold area.
The Emirates-Dubai, Qatar airways-Doha services are also on hold. Passengers are requested to wait outside the terminal, it said.
