AP: Work with coordination to win local body elections: NDA leaders, cadres told

Visakhapatnam, Sep 27 (UNI) With the local body elections approaching, steps have been initiated under the leadership of TDP Andhra Pradesh State President and MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao to further strengthen coordination among the NDA alliance partners and move forward with a collective action plan at the grassroots level.

As part of these efforts, an NDA alliance coordination meeting was held at the TDP Zonal Office here on Sunday. The meeting extensively deliberated on preparations for the local body elections, coordination among alliance partners and the action plan to be implemented constituency-wise.

The meeting directed the alliance cadre to remain fully prepared to face the elections whenever they are held and called upon TDP, Jana Sena and BJP leaders to work in close coordination from the village level to the constituency level.

It was decided to ensure that coordination committees function proactively in accordance with local conditions, identify the most suitable candidates with a strong understanding of grassroots-level development, local issues and public concerns, and regularly review ground-level issues and political developments.

Mr. Palla Srinivasa Rao stressed that unity, coordination and collective action among the alliance cadre should be accorded the highest priority in the local body elections. He called for a structured action plan to ensure continuous coordination among elected representatives, party leadership and grassroots-level cadre.
