Telangana: KTR questions Rahul Gandhi over Krishank’s arrest

Hyderabad, Sep 18 (UNI) BRS working president K T Rama Rao on Friday questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the arrest of BRS social media convenor Manne Krishank in connection with a social media post.
In a post on X, Mr Rama Rao alleged that Telangana Police entered Mr Krishank’s residence and arrested him over a post criticising the government.
He claimed that Krishank’s daughter was left crying during the police action.
Mr Rama Rao questioned whether criticising the Congress government was a crime and alleged that the Revanth Reddy government was suppressing democratic dissent. He also referred to court directions concerning arrests over social media posts and sought answers from Mr Gandhi.
Krishank was taken into custody by Hyderabad police on Friday over a social media post linked to an alleged attack on BRS working president K T Rama Rao’s staff.
