Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams conclude with grand Chakrasnanam at Tirumala

Tirumala, Oct 20 (UNI) The Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams concluded on a grand note with the sacred Chakrasnanam ritual performed at Tirumala on Tuesday amid religious fervour and the chanting of Govinda Nama.
The ritual was held under bright sunshine, marking the culmination of the annual festivities. Earlier, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi, as well as Sudarshana Chakrattalwar.
The temple premises reverberated with Govinda Nama as Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was immersed in the sacred waters of Swamy Pushkarini at the auspicious time. Devotees also took a holy dip in the temple tank as part of the ritual.
Speaking on the occasion, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer M Ravichandra thanked the temple priests, TTD staff, vigilance personnel, police, district officials and Srivari Seva volunteers for their dedicated efforts in ensuring the successful conduct of the Brahmotsavams.
He also expressed gratitude to devotees for their cooperation in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere during the darshan and Vahana Sevas despite inclement weather conditions.
The EO said the spiritual significance of Chakrasnanam continued throughout the day and appealed to devotees to take a holy dip in Swamy Pushkarini in a phased manner without rushing.
TTD Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary said the TTD had collected feedback from devotees on the facilities provided during the festivities. He added that the suggestions would be considered to improve services during future events.
Several TTD board members, officials and Srivari Seva volunteers participated in the concluding ceremony.
