Hyd: Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi thanks government, police for successful Ganesh immersion

Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) The Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) on Saturday thanked the Telangana government, police, various departments, devotees and the general public for the successful conduct of the 47th Samuhik Ganesh Nimajjanam procession in Hyderabad.
In a press release, the Samithi said this year's festival and immersion programme had been completed successfully with the cooperation of the public, police and several government departments.
The Samithi expressed gratitude to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Minister D. Sridhar Babu, the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police C.V. Anand, police commissioners, municipal commissioners and other officials for their support.
It acknowledged the efforts of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and other municipal bodies, police commissioners of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Malkajgiri and Future City, and the district administrations of Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri in maintaining law and order and providing necessary facilities for the festival and immersion.
The Samithi also thanked departments and organisations, including HMDA, HYDRA, Roads and Buildings, TGSPDCL, TGSRTC, Endowments, Tourism, RTA, South Central Railway, Hyderabad Metro Rail, Health, Fisheries, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Fire Services and Irrigation, for their cooperation.
The Samithi acknowledged the participation of religious leaders, including Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Shri Shridharacharya Ji Maharaj of Ayodhya, Mahant Shukrai Nath Yog and Acharya Vimal Sagar Suriji, along with other dignitaries.
It further appreciated the efforts of various religious organisations, volunteers and organisers who coordinated prasadam distribution, drinking water, medical aid and other essential services during the celebrations.
The Samithi said it looked forward to continued cooperation and support in future celebrations.
