Godavari Pushkarams to be organised on Kumbh Mela scale: Sridhar Babu

Hyderabad, Sep 18 (UNI) Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Friday directed officials to work collectively on a special action plan to organise the upcoming Godavari Pushkarams-2027 on the scale of the Kumbh Mela, with all preparatory works completed by April next year.
Chairing a Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting on “Godavari Pushkarams-2027” at the Assembly Committee Hall, Mr Sridhar Babu directed officials to conduct field-level studies and take measures to avoid the difficulties faced during previous Pushkarams, particularly in managing the expected crowds.
Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Seethakka, Ponnam Prabhakar, Vivek Venkatswamy and Adluri Laxman Kumar attended the meeting, where preparations, development works at prominent temples, construction of ghats, transportation and infrastructure were reviewed.
