ITC Hotels to launch Welcomhotel Shankarpally in Telangana

Hyderabad, May 20 (UNI ITC Hotels Limited (ITCHL) now brings its fast-growing Brand, Welcomhotel to Telangana as it announced the signing of an agreement with M/s KAC Palm Exotica Hotels Private Limited to launch Welcomhotel Shankarpally in the Hyderabad market.
ITCHL already operates two iconic hotels in Hyderabad-- ITC Kakatiya with 188 keys and ITC Kohenur with 274 keys.
The upcoming hotel will offer a wide range of amenities, including an all-day dining outlet, speciality restaurant, bar, pool, lounge, spa, and a kids’ club. Designed as a premier destination for leisure and business events, it will house versatile banquet venues and over 6,000 square meters of outdoor event space to accommodate gatherings ranging from intimate functions to large-scale weddings and conferences.
Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels, said, “This signing marks the Welcomhotel brand’s entry into Telangana. With our asset-right strategy, we aim to reach deeper into tier-2 and tier-3 markets to offer travelers immersive, local experiences. Welcomhotel Shankarpally aspires to become the definitive destination for bleisure travel and events in Hyderabad.”
Krishna Sandeep Kilaru, Director of KAC Palm Exotica Hotels, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are proud to develop this property in Telangana. ITC Hotels' excellence in food and beverage and hospitality aligns perfectly with our vision for this hotel.”
Located about 60 km from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, the hotel will offer excellent connectivity to all parts of Hyderabad, a company statement said on Tuesday.
