Hyd: Minister Jupally conducts surprise inspection, stresses food quality in Tourism Plaza

Hyderabad, June 17 (UNI) Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Tuesday conducted surprise inspections at the Tourism Plaza Hotel in Begumpet, emphasising the need for strict adherence to cleanliness and food quality standards in government-run hotels.

During his early morning visit, the minister thoroughly inspected the restaurant, kitchen, and food items being served. He interacted with tourists and guests having breakfast and personally enquired about the quality and taste of the food.

Speaking to the media afterward, Minister Jupally stated that regular monitoring of facilities and food standards in green hotels would continue. He warned that strict action would be taken against any violation of hygiene or quality guidelines. He asserted that the responsibility of maintaining food quality lies with the hotel management.

The minister added that while increasing government revenue remains a focus, the priority is also on improving the overall experience for tourists by providing better amenities and a cleaner, more pleasant environment. He reiterated the government’s commitment to developing green hotels into welcoming spaces for visitors.
