Maha: Jarange announces solo protest at Azad Maidan; Set to leave for Mumbai on Sep 15

Jalna, Sep 14 (UNI) Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil today said he will travel alone to Mumbai on September 15 as part of his agitation and urged supporters not to accompany him, saying the decision is aimed at preventing any untoward incident during the movement.
Addressing his supporters, Jarange alleged that the government led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been attempting to create a situation in which clashes can occur during the agitation and the blame for any violence will fall on the Maratha community.
"We have to counter the move with an equally strategic step. They have used festivals as a reason to deny us permission and may try to send their people into the rally to create clashes. The blame will then fall on the Marathas,” he said.
