Maha: Congress MP Prof Varsha Gaikwad selected for prestigious Sansad Ratna Award 2025

Mumbai, May 18 (UNI) Mumbai Congress president and MP, Prof Varsha Gaikwad, is among 17 MPs from different political parties in the country who have been selected for the prestigious Sansad Ratna Award 2025.
In her very first term as a member of the Lok Sabha, she has made a significant mark by consistently raising key issues related to Mumbai’s development and the problems faced by Mumbaikars, said Sureshchandra Rajhans, party spokesperson and media coordinator of Mumbai, on Sunday while congratulating her.
Through well-researched and articulate presentations in Parliament, Prof Gaikwad has not only effectively utilised all democratic tools available to an elected representative but also lived up to that expectation with integrity and commitment.
