Nashik: Fake godman among six arrested for Rs 15 crore ‘money rain’ fraud

Nashik, Sep 10 (UNI) Six people, including a fake godman identified as Hirachand Shivaji Barde, have been arrested in connection with a fraud case in which victims were allegedly lured with promises of making Rs 15 crore “rain” through black magic and rituals in Nashik’s Kalwan taluka.
A court has remanded Barde and two other accused to five days of police custody.
The accused allegedly targeted families from Mumbai, promising to multiply their money through occult practices and religious rituals.
