Maha: SIT constituted to probe MH-CET lapses, says CM Fadnavis, assures students on MPSC exams

Mumbai, Sep 16 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday said that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to investigate alleged irregularities related to the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET).
Speaking on the issue, Fadnavis also addressed concerns raised by students regarding the conduct of examinations by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). He said the state government has already taken a decision to postpone some MPSC examinations in view of the concerns surrounding the examination process.
Clarifying the controversy over remarks made by the chairperson of a committee constituted to examine issues related to MPSC examinations, Fadnavis said the statement has been misinterpreted. He maintained that there is no decision at present to conduct any examination through an online mode.
