Maha CM Fadnavis to inaugurate electric truck manufacturing facility in Pune today

Pune, Oct 14 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H. D. Kumaraswamy will inaugurate Energy in Motion’s (EIM) electric truck manufacturing facility at RMK Industrial Park 3, Ambi, Maval, Pune, on Wednesday.

The company is supplying electric trucks to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), with operations along the Mumbai-Pune corridor expected to commence soon.
Energy in Motion (EIM) is part of the RMK Group, which has facilitated investments totalling Rs 2,500 crore in Maval taluka this year, generating 4,000 direct jobs, RMK Group Chairman Ramdas Kakade said.
The investments involve companies including Energy in Motion (EIM), Visteon, NDS, PTL, Ameya Finishing Solutions, Revoltech, K-Nest, W&D, Boretech and Mann Hummel.
According to a press release, RMK has facilitated investments exceeding Rs 10,000 crore and generated more than 10,000 direct jobs in Maval over the past seven years.
During this period, the Group has also planted more than 15,000 trees and developed solar power projects with a combined capacity of 11.2 MW to serve these industries, the release said.
