Maha: Over 12,300 students set Asia Book of Records mark with mass Ganesh Stotra recitation

Pune, Sep 17 (UNI) As many as 12,360 students from various schools in Pune participated in an online mass recitation of a Ganesh stotra, setting a record recognised by the Asia Book of Records.
The initiative was organised by the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust as part of the Ganesh festival. Students from participating schools recited the stotra simultaneously online at a designated time.
The Asia Book of Records certificate was presented by adjudicator Chitra Jain to Punit Balan, festival chief of the trust.
Students from schools across Pune and nearby areas, including institutions for visually-impaired students, participated in the initiative.
“This initiative was organised to connect students with Indian culture and the traditions associated with Ganesh worship. The participation of 12,360 students in the simultaneous online recitation is a matter of satisfaction,” Balan said.
