Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP of ‘Vote Theft’ in Gokul Milk union Chairperson Poll

New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, launched a scathing attack on the BJP, accusing it of "stealing votes" and committing "adulteration of the mandate" in the ongoing chairperson election dispute of the Kolhapur District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union, popularly known as 'Gokul Dairy'.
The controversy over the composition of the governing board of the milk union—a vital component of Kolhapur district's economy and regional politics—escalated to the national stage following the state government's decision to alter board nomination rules.
In a sharp post on social media platform X, Gandhi alleged that the ruling BJP modified cooperative norms after milk producers voted against the party in the elections.
