Maha: Govt, Tata to set up 4th CtripleIT centre in Raigad

Mumbai, May 22 (UNI) After Beed, Nanded and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a new Centre for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training or ‘CtripleIT’ worth Rs 105 crore will be set up at Roha MIDC area in Raigad district with the cooperation of Tata Group of Companies and the Maharashtra government.
An official media statement issued here on Thursday stated that Tata Technology has sent a letter of central approval to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in this regard.
Due to this centre, the youths of Raigad district will get employment-oriented skill development training with cutting-edge ‘AI’ technology as per the needs of industries.
Out of total cost of Rs 105 crore for this ‘CtripleIT’ centre to be set up in Roha MIDC of Raigad district, Rs 89 crore will be provided by Tata Company and Rs 16 crore by the state government and district administration.
This is the fourth centre to be approved in the state in last four months due to the follow-up of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
'CtripleIT’ centres have paved the way for youths from all the four districts to get employment-oriented, cutting-edge skill development training and to create an industry-friendly environment in the districts.
The ‘CtripleIT’ centre to be set up in Raigad’s Roha MIDC will provide world-class modern training, technical skill development, employment and self-employment opportunities to the youth of Konkan and the district using ‘AI’. The industry sector will be provided with skilled manpower at the local level.
This ‘CtripleIT’ centre will fulfil many objectives including encouraging new industries in Konkan. The new centre will train 3,000 youths every year, which is believed to help create an industry-friendly environment in Konkan, the statement added.
