Mumbai, May 1 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan unfurled the national Tricolour on Thursday on the occasion of the 66th Maharashtra State Foundation Day at a state function held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park in Mumbai .
The Governor inspected the ceremonial parade and took salute from the marching columns.
He also addressed the citizens on the occasion of Maharashtra Day.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, chairman of state legislative council Prof Ram Shinde, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar, Minister of Medical Education Hasan Mushrif, chairperson of the state Women's Commission Rupali Chakankar, chief secretary Sujata Saunik, DGP Rashmi Shukla, municipal commissioner and administrator Bhushan Gagrani, police commissioner Deven Bharti, consuls and honorary consul of various countries in Mumbai and senior officers of the armed forces, civil, police and fire services and citizens were present.
