GHRCEM Pune students secure spot in Top 105 global teams in Google Solution Challenge

Pune, May 19 (UNI) Students of GH Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, Pune, secured a spot in the top 105 global teams for the Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) Solution Challenge.
This international recognition highlights the college's commitment to innovation, technology, and global impact.
The GDSC Solution Challenge, organised by Google, invites student developers from across the world to solve one or more of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using Google technology.
Out of over 64,000 registrations and 3,700+ project submissions, only 105 teams were shortlisted for their innovative, problem-solving tech solutions and GHRCEM's student innovators made it to this elite group, said release today.
The recognition came through official communication from the Google Developers team, congratulating the students for their impact-driven project and encouraging them for further engagement and growth through mentorship sessions and networking with Google Developer Experts (GDEs). The shortlisted teams also received exclusive swags and will now compete to be among the Top 10 global finalists.
Dr. R.D. Kharadkar, Campus Director, GHRCEM Pune, expressed immense pride in the students’ achievement, stating, “This achievement reinforces our vision of fostering a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and global competitiveness.
The recognition aligns with GHRCEM Pune's broader mission to produce globally competent engineers and technologists by providing an environment that encourages research, innovation, and holistic development, release added.
