Fadnavis criticises Rahul Gandhi for tweeting on Gokul Dairy row, says it is not a national issue

Mumbai, Nov 5 (UNI) Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis criticised Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for commenting on the ongoing political controversy surrounding the Gokul Dairy in Kolhapur, saying that the issue was too small to warrant the attention of a national leader.
“What situation has Rahul Gandhi been reduced to? A person aspiring to become Prime Minister is tweeting about a small election. Gokul has only around 4,500 voters, yet Rahul Gandhi has to sit in Delhi and tweet about it. This is not a national issue, but he is getting involved even in such matters,” Fadnavis said.
Explaining the state government's decision to appoint four members to the Gokul Dairy board, Fadnavis said the move was necessary to resolve the legal and procedural deadlock over the election of the chairman.
