If someone received Rs 500 crore, why didn’t the money reach me?”: Shrikant Shinde’s sarcastic response to Jarange’s allegation

Mumbai, Oct 24 (UNI) Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde has reacted sarcastically to allegations by Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil that the BJP had allegedly given Rs 500 crore to Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to manage the Maratha leader. The controversy has triggered a political war of words, with tensions reportedly rising between the BJP and the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
Responding to questions from the media, Shrikant Shinde, the son of Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, said he too was wondering why the alleged Rs 500 crore had not reached him if someone had actually received the money.
"Just as Jarange Patil is wondering where the Rs 500 crore went, I am also asking the same question. I am now setting out to find the person who received the money,” Shinde remarked sarcastically.
