Rahul Gandhi, Sanjay Raut are architects of horse-trading in politics: BJP spokesperson Navnath Ban

Mumbai, Nov 5 (UNI) BJP Maharashtra chief spokesperson Navnath Ban on Thursday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut of being the architects of political horse-trading, alleging that they had played a role in denying the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance its mandate in Maharashtra after the 2019 Assembly elections.
Speaking at the BJP's state office, Ban said Gandhi should refer to the political developments in Maharashtra in 2019 instead of citing the recent election of the Gokul Milk Producers' Cooperative Society in Kolhapur.
He claimed that the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance had received a mandate from voters, but the Congress, despite winning only around 40 to 42 seats, subsequently became part of the government with the support of Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut.
