Maha: MoU with ATE Chandra Foundation for 'Galmukt Dharan, Galyukt Shiwar' scheme

Mumbai, Mar 9 (UNI) ATE Chandra Foundation on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government for implementation of the 'Galmukt Dharan, Galyukt Shiwar Yojana' in the state.
The MoU has been entered into between ATE Chandra Foundation and Department of Soil and Water Conservation in the Mantralaya regarding the implementation of this scheme in the state.
Under 'Jalyukta Shiwar Yojana 2', 'Galmukt Dharan, Galyukt Shiwar' scheme is being implemented in the state. Through this scheme, besides increasing the water storage in the dams, the fertility of agriculture is also being greatly helped.
