Govt to fill 2,795 posts of Livestock Development Officers: Maha minister

Mumbai, Apr 8 (UNI) To ensure that the work of the Animal Husbandry Department is done at full capacity, Maharashtra Animal Husbandry Minister Pankaja Munde has taken an important step and has decided to fill the vacant posts in the department.
Under this, she on Tuesday informed that a demand letter has been submitted to the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) regarding the filling of 2,795 posts of Livestock Development Officers in the Animal Husbandry Service Group A.
According to the revised structure, a total of 4,684 posts have been approved in the Livestock Development Officer cadre under Maharashtra Animal Husbandry Service Group A. Out of which, 1,886 posts are currently filled, and 2,798 posts are vacant.
