Mumbai, June 2 (UNI) Mumbai is set for a rainy start to June, with meteorologists anticipating frequent light to moderate showers throughout the week.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated that the city and its surrounding areas will continue to see periodic rainfall following the early arrival of the southwest monsoon.
After a vigorous onset last Monday, which brought heavy rains to many neighbourhoods, precipitation has become more sporadic but remains a daily feature for residents. On Sunday, several suburbs—including Mankhurd, Vikhroli, and Mulund—registered notable rainfall, while other parts of the city experienced brief but intense downpours.
